Who we are

What this website collects

• The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
• The enquiry form does not send anything to this website. It puts your message into your own email or WhatsApp app, and you decide whether to send it.
• Like any web server, our host keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and fault-finding.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

What we do with an enquiry you send us

If you email, phone or WhatsApp us, we receive the details you choose to give: typically your name, company, contact details and information about your machine. We use them only to answer you, prepare a quotation and carry out any work that follows.

We do not sell your information or pass it to anyone for marketing. We keep it for as long as the enquiry or the resulting work needs it, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

Messages sent by WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email austin@automation-republic.com and we will respond.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
